1.Can trees be trimmed all year round?
Yes, In general trees may be trimmed in any season with out loss or damage to the
tree.  There are exceptions such as for fruit trees.  Contact us for any questions.

2.What is the max height a stump must to be cut down to in order to be able to grind it?
In order to grind a stump, it must be 10 inches or less above the ground surface.

3.How far down will we grind a stump?
We will typically grind a stump down to 4 inches below the surface.

4.Is financing available?
Yes, we offer financing through John Deer.  Approval based on your application.

5.Will vines damage a tree?
Yes, vines do directly damage the tree and will eventually cover the canopy of the
tree and effectively block sunlight to the tree.  Vines will also wrap around the trunk
of the tree and eventually suffocate it.

6.Will mistletoe damage a tree?
Yes, mistletoe is actually an infection and needs to be fully removed and the tree
treated to regain its strength and health.  If left untreated it can not only damage the
tree, it will kill it. 

7.Will moss damage a tree?
Yes.  Spanish hanging moss blocks the sun from getting to the leaves.  When there
is a lot of Spanish Moss on a tree and it rains, this can significantly increase the
weight on the branch and cause breakage.  Ball moss imbeds itself into the tree and
sucks the nutrients out of the tree.

8.Can tree roots cause damage to my house foundation, driveway or patio?
Tree roots will grow under a slab such as under your driveway or patio and can
cause buckling, cracking and disfiguration. 

9.What exactly is a large tree?
A large tree is classified as any tree in which a climber will need to be engaged in
order to take the tree down in sections.

10.What forms of payment do you accept?

11.What is a hazardous tree inspection?
This is an inspection to determine the condition and state of the tree in question
and assess the trees potential to cause hazard to both life and property.

12.Are their municipal / county codes related to tree removal?
Yes, there are.  Guidelines do exist for the removal of trees.  We would ensure all
municipal guides and rules were followed for your location.

13.How can pest control be organic?
Nature long ago developed organic methods of dealing with insects.  Our process
uses naturally occurring pest control material to rid interiors and exteriors from
annoying and/or dangerous insects.

14.Is is possible to damage a tree by cutting it back or through pruning?
Very much so.  An incorrectly pruned tree will leave the tree open to disease,
insects and can weaken the trees integrity.  Failure to correctly prune your trees
can result in a much more costly expense requiring the removal of the tree entirely.
